1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ecall application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the service
Ecall provides real-time voice and video communication between users. The Service does not include text messaging features.
Ecall is designed to protect communications using end-to-end encryption (E2EE). This means call content is encrypted on the sender’s device and decrypted only on the recipient’s device. Ecall is designed so that we do not have access to the content of your calls.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User accounts
An account is required to access and use the Service.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Engage in fraud or impersonation
- Distribute malicious software
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service
You also agree not to use the Service to violate the privacy rights of others, including by unlawfully recording communications without consent.
6. Partner responsibilities
Partners using Ecall infrastructure to create or operate branded communication applications are responsible for ensuring their services comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Partners must not use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or impersonation-related activities.
Partners are solely responsible for the operation, branding, and management of their applications and users.
7. Verification and access control
Ecall may require additional verification information from partners, including business-related information, before granting or maintaining access to certain services or infrastructure.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access where verification requirements are not satisfied or where misuse, fraud, or platform abuse is suspected.
8. Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Ecall is designed so that call content is not accessible to us. Limited technical data may be processed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
9. Security disclaimer
While Ecall implements strong security measures, no method of electronic transmission is completely secure. Factors outside our control – such as device security or network conditions – may impact overall security.
10. Service availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
11. Third-Party services
Ecall relies on third-party infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for their performance or availability.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if the Service is discontinued.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecall shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or communications.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ecall and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
